What if I have used strong chemicals in the past?
Most surface wipes and kitchen cleaners contain many chemicals, yes they kill germs, but they can be very strong, and are not necessarily safe for use around food. Also, once strong chemicals have been used for cleaning you must ensure they are removed and there is no residue left that can cause any cross contamination. Just make sure if you have used strong chemicals to clean your refrigerator or bench tops, that you remove the residue with a very weak mixture of water and dishwashing liquid.
Make sure you always follow the instructions on cleaning product labels, and take note of any poison or unfriendly chemicals that may be harmful.
